I have found out in Life, You can Depend on a Few Things.... God, Your Self, and If You Are Blessed a Few, True, Loyal, Trusted Friends. Not Always, Family, Sad to Say, Some times they Are the Worse. I had an Accident, Years Ago, That Destroyed My Life, and My Career, from that Accident, I have Annular Tears, in my back, where they are located, the Great Surgeon, the Best, cannot operate, I would freeze up, in layman's terms and not be able to walk. It has sent me ten years into My life, if I am 40, 50, 50, 60, etc. I have osteopororis, degenerate disk, permanent whip lash in my neck, restless leg, nerve damage, the list goes on and on. In other words, Pain! That, I Never had! So, you cannot be Repaired. Here comes the Pills, and the Doctor's, it is a Night Mare. No way, Am I going to Be an Addict Also. Started out mild Meds, Ended Up Heavy Duty, Morphine, almost killed me, I Stopped Them, Vicoden, gave me Migranes, Then, Oxycotin, Time Release, well? Percocet, four, to five hours gets the pain. My doctor, gets a phone call from a person, so there goes my pills, Never tell Any one who your Doctor is, and Never tell them You take A pill. What saved me, thank God, I was not an Over Taker. Forty-eight patients seen in private practice with a variety of orthopedic diagnosis were treated with ultrasound Phonophoresis with a 50/50 mixture of the topical analgesic anti-inflammatory lotion, TP Gold and regular ultrasound lotion. "Over 30 years ago (present age 67) I broke, while playing a basketball game, the medial malleolus of the left tibia together with ligament damage. The problem was misdiagnosed by an MD, DO and a podiatrist all of whom said I had a sprained ankle. Eventually a proper diagnosis was made by the Detroit Tigers team physician and resulting therapy resulted in about 80% mobility etc. At various times I have strained the joint and tibial tendon around this malunion, however after a bit of home therapy the pain went away and I was able to carry on as usual. About two years ago I foolishly strained the tendon and joint ( I just had to whip a young 30 year old in a 50 yard race) ( which I did) . This time however the tendon and joint did not heal in the aforementioned time. I was now forced to hobble with pain and 2 physicians suggested that a fusion of the ankle was the only solution while another said to live with the problem.
