There are several accepted techniques to surgically treat this condition.  Dr. Momeni uses a tendon graft from the patient&#039;s own wrist to fill the space and provide cushion support for the patient&#039;s future thumb function and pain relief.  Dr. Momeni is a board-certified plastic surgeon with an interest in hand surgery and cosmetic surgery.
