Holy moly people, Selena Gomez is taking charge in majors ways this year and her latest accomplishment will have you drooling at the mouth! Our beloved Selena is the face of the April 2017 issue of Vogue Magazine and she is absolutely stunning. She’s been open with her fans, but her interview is a whole new level of real!
She tackles many issues, obstacles and things that have happened in her life, some of which was publicized sooner or later and some that weren’t. She starts off by talking about her anxiety and depression and how she made the decision to get help.
When it comes to discussing her stint in rehab last year Selena tells Vogue, You have no idea how incredible it felt to just be with six girls,” she says, “real people who couldn’t give two shits about who I was, who were fighting for their lives. It was one of the hardest things I’ve done, but it was the best thing I’ve done.” She also dishes about her life after Disney and the struggles that came with making a name for herself post ‘Wizards of Waverly Place.” Then there is the topic of guilt, which she felt when she moved her family from Texas to LA, and her mom pretty much gave up her life in order for Selena to live out her dream.
Bieber was never mentioned; but there were subtle passes made about him and how he used to treat her. Selena’s fanbase is massive, that’s not lie, so when she revealed to Vogue, “Somebody I used to hang out with would always get very frustrated with me, but I have a hard time saying no to children,” your mind instantly goes to Bieber.
Bieber clearly has a love-hate relationship with his fans, avoiding their pictures, love, and even publicly bashing them whether that be at clubs or concerts or on the streets. But see that’s why Justin and Selena could never work, she has too big of a heart for him, and I think he’s incapable of accepting that!
Now when it comes to her new love, The Weeknd… Selena stayed tight-lipped about it saying, everything she said about her relationships in the past came back to bit her and she will never do it again!!
But subtle Instagram posts about him or videos of him on your IG story isn’t talking about, Selena??? Selena is far from leaving the spotlight, but when that day comes she says she can’t wait for people to forget about her!
