The clip highlights the plight of domestic rabbits that are being fed an inappropriate diet, and not given enough hay, with dire consequences for the rabbits teeth. Rabbits teeth grow continuously, and without being eroded, by hay and appropriate dry food, can grow razor sharp spurs which have to be burred down by a vet. In most cases this is avoidable, however some rabbits have a disposition to molar spurs.
The video also raises awareness of the considerations needed when giving a rabbit as a pet, and the reporter demonstrates very clearly how not to hold a rabbit.
